Overview

The NATO Maritime Commanders Meeting is the premiere gathering of Allied operational maritime commanders, along with those of NATO’s many partner nations. The objective of the conference was to facilitate a better understanding of the complex environment in which maritime forces operate. The conference brought together the combined expertise of the military, industry, academia, government and think-tanks. The conference focused on the dynamic challenges of a maritime world and consider potential responses.

Paul Berkman spoke on “the High North” in a session titled “The Wider Atlantic”.
